My favourite segment of the Short film is the middle of it where the action starts to begin. The short film itself is slow to get into and then as soon as the middle hits you are hooked. It is a fast paced action segment with lots of jump cuts and editing to make the ghostly figure in his head seem more real every time. The idea of the fast cuts and the editing is to engage the viewer and the audience to make it so they want to keep watching the film and that the middle section if the film makes them want to not stop watching. Another reason why i like the segment is because thought the scenes there is eary music in the background once again giving of that scary and traumatic vibe. Throughout this sequence there is voices being played over people talking so the audience begin to realise that the main character is insane and there are voices in his head.

It is the segment from 1 minute 25 to 2 minutes 30 . To begin with the main character takes the bag off the torture subjects head. This footage didn't need to be edited however there is music in the background creating tension. Throughout the segment there is scenes of the main character talking to the character in his head . These scenes have had reverb added to them as well as jump cutting in between scenes. These edits show off the tension that is being created in these scenes. As well it shows the audience that the main character is talking to someone who might not be real because of the ghostly atmosphere. Towards the end of this segment the main character begins to have a heated argument with the actor in the chair and he begins to get very frustrated. I have used quick pace editing and a variety of shots and have changed the levels of audio as the scene goes on to show an increasing anger and increased levels of frustration. All of which create tension
